PROVERBS 16:7
“When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
How can a man’s way please the LORD? … It’s by walking by faith.

For the Scripture says : “without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” [Ref: Hebrews 11:6]
You need to trust the LORD in order to please God.
You need to purposefully decide to follow the Way, the Truth, and the Life that Christ has demonstrated to us; … that Christ has given to us.
Those that walk by faith and are led by the Spirit, are the ones that please God.
Romans chapter 8 verse 5 says this; (it says) –
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.”
Verse 6: “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Verse 7: “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”
Verse 8: “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”
So if you are not walking in the Spirit, if you are carnally minded, if you are in the flesh, you can’t please God.
It’s they that are in the Spirit that pleases God.
It’s they that walk by faith; …they are the ones that please God.
And “When a man’s ways please the LORD, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
So, if your way is the way of faith, the way of obedience to the total counsel of the LORD, God will make even your enemies to be at peace with you; because God will silence them!
So I Encourage You, …
Learn to walk in the way of the LORD.
For if God be for you nobody can be against you, because when you are pleasing God, God will be for you.
So, Learn to please God in your ways
Let your ways be the way of Life.
Let it be the way of Truth.
Let it be the way Christ has given to us.
Let it be that narrow way, that straight way that leads to Eternal Life.
Let it be the way of love. For the love of God constrains us to live a life of love. … “For God so loved the word, He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” [Ref: John 3:16].
And Christ Himself laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for our brethren.

So “When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
So, when we walk in the love of God which is what Christ demonstrated to us, which is – walking in His Way, His Truth, and Life, we will please God, and He will make our enemies to be at peace with us.
If we are at peace with God by pleasing Him, God will silence our enemies. So, we should be intentional in doing that which pleases God.
The Scripture says in Proverbs 10 verse 12 –
“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.”
Learn to walk in the way that Christ has espoused, and made clear to us.
In Matthew chapter 5 verse 43 –
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.”
Verse 44: “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
Verse 45: “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Verse 48: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
So, Christ has commanded us to love our enemies.
When we love them and pray for them that they may repent, God will make them to be at peace with us.
When we don’t repay them with their evil, God has a way of making them to be at peace with us because we have pleased God by doing the word of God. That’s what faith is! – believing what God says and doing it; … because faith goes with works!
So when we do what the word of God says, God will make our enemies to be at peace with us.
So I Encourage You, …
Learn to do what the word of God says.

The Scripture says in Romans 12 verse 14 –
“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.”
Verse 20 said: “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.”
Verse 21: “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
So, when we purposefully walk by faith and do what the word of God says : we will please God, and He will make even our enemies to be at peace with us.
This is the challenge! – You have to learn to be …
‘kind one to another,
tender hearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us.’ [Ref: Ephesians 4:32].
We should learn, …
to forgive one another;
to pray for one another;
to show love, even when people are not showing love to us.
So, let us do that which pleases God. And when we do that which pleases God, He will make our enemies to be at peace with us.
Hebrews 12 verse 14 says this –
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”
KNOW THIS:
So, when we are fulfilling the word of God, we will see God in every area of our lives, in every situation.
“When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
Learn to please the LORD, and your enemies will be at peace with you. You don’t need to go to beg them:
All you need to do is to please God !
All you need to do is to walk by faith !!
All you need to do is to do what the word of God says !!!
And as you please God, God will silence the enemy. He will make the enemy to be at peace with you.
That’s why the Scripture says in Hebrews 13 verse 20,
“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,”
Verse 21: “Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
So, when you yield yourself to walk in the will of God, doing that which is well pleasing in the sight of the Lord: He will make your enemies to be at peace with you.

SO, ...
It’s our responsibility to walk by faith, trusting the Lord; because when we trust the LORD, He will make sure that the rod of the wicked will not rest upon the lot, He has given to us. It will not rest on our inheritance.
So, “When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
1st Epistle of John 3 verse 22 say this –
“And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”
So, when our ways pleases the LORD because we are doing the word of God, when we ask for deliverance from our enemies, God Himself has the power to do it. He will do it even before you open your mouth to ask, for your ways are pleasing Him.
DO THIS:
So, purpose that your ways will please the LORD!
See, after Jacob has settled his matter in the presence of God and made peace with God, his brother Esau who had desired to kill him changed his mind.
So, make sure that your way is pleasing the LORD! Because once your ways are pleasing the LORD, He will make your enemies to be at peace with you. For ‘when your ways please the LORD, He will make your enemies to be at peace with you.’
HEAR THIS
For in righteousness you shall be established because you are walking in the way of righteousness. And oppression shall be far away from thy tabernacle. You will not fear! And terror will not come near you.
For ‘no weapon formed or fashioned against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. (for) This is your heritage as the servants of the LORD, and your righteousness is of the LORD.’ [Ref: Isaiah 54:17]
So, when your ways please the LORD, he maketh even your enemies to be at peace with you.
As the Scripture tells us in 1st Peter 3 from verse 10; it says –
“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:”
Verse 11: “Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.”
Verse 12: “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”
Verse 13: “And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?”

If you follow the LORD, …
Follow the way of the LORD, walk in His truth making sure you are for peace, representing the Prince of Peace, remaining the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus: your ways will please the LORD, and He will make your enemies to be at peace with you.
So I Desire You:
To follow peace with all men, without which no eyes shall see the Lord.
As you do that, you'll remain blessed so that your ways shall please the Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
